The Natick Historical Society is offering free public tours of historic South Natick.
Join local historian Terri Evans for a stroll through the heart of South Natick. The tour includes discussion of the 17th-century “Praying Indian” settlement and of the 19th-century local residents who inspired the characters in Harriet Beecher Stowe’s novel, Oldtown Folks.
This season we are offering three public tours:
- Sunday, April 30th at 12pm for "Natick History Weekend" [FULL]
- Sunday, May 7th at 1pm
- Sunday, June 4 at 1pm
[Please note, our April 30th tour is currently full. If you would like to be put on a waitlist for that tour, email Rachel at rsb@natickhistoricalsociety.org with your name and the size of your party.]
These tours are capped to 12 people. This program is FREE and open to the public. The tour will last 45-60 minutes. Advanced registration is required.
If any of these tours fill up and you would like to be put on a waitlist for one of them, please email Rachel at
rsb@natickhistoricalsociety.org with your name, the date of your desired tour, and the number of people in your party. She will be in touch if any spots become available.
