New Client Project Brief
COsewn is a small studio that specializes in contract patternmaking, sample sewing, and consulting. Cut & sew production is not offered in house, but I do collaborate with a broader network of service providers and factories from design through production and can guide you through the process.

While I have a broad range of sewing experience across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, and lightweight accessory categories spanning knits and wovens, my patternmaking expertise is most focused within the realm of women's casual stretch athletic apparel such as base layers, hoodies, and tanks. I also enjoy the technical complexities of functional outdoor apparel and accessories that are suited for adventure in and around the mountains of Colorado, such as fleece jackets, fishing vests, and paddle sports apparel.

This questionnaire is intended to help me determine how I can best serve you. It is ok if you are in the early concept stage and don’t have answers for everything yet. The information provided in this questionnaire will be used to evaluate your project and level of preparation in order to create a proposal for work to be completed. If you are uncomfortable with sharing information for privacy reasons, please feel free to inquire about my confidentiality policy. In a nutshell, I do not sign NDA's as I'm not going to jeopardize my industry reputation by stealing your ideas, nor will I hire a lawyer to review fine print for every proposal when very little in this industry qualifies as novel and patentable. I maintain confidentiality in regards to all client work in development. I do not showcase any works in process until after a design has been publicly released by the client, and I can also maintain the ongoing privacy of client relationships if requested.

You will receive a copy of your answers via email, so even if your project is not in my wheelhouse, the exercise of outlining this information will be valuable in establishing relationships with other service providers. Please allow 1 week for review, after which I will follow up with an initial determination and an invitation to schedule a complementary 20 minute call if your project seems like a good fit for my capabilities.
