2024-2025 Diocesan Youth Council Application Due by June 30, 2024

The purpose of the Diocesan Youth Council (DYC) is to provide valuable input, and to help plan and assist in the implementation of Diocesan sponsored youth ministry events. These events are primarily, but not exclusive to, the Annual Diocesan Sr. High Youth Rally/Day in the fall of each year and the Diocesan Middle School Youth Rally/Lock-in in winter of each year, and Castaway in the spring.

DYC meets approximately five to six times a year. The council helps set themes, workshops, schedule, formats for youth events.

Because youth ministry is to, for, by, and with youth, and the gifts youth are blessed with are essential to the life of youth ministry, the DYC takes on a large leadership role in the running of youth events.

Meeting Dates are: Tuesday, August 20: 11am -2pm

Sundays: September 22, October 20, December 15, 2024, January 12, February 23, 2025 12:30-3pm.

Meeting Location: Usually at the Diocesan Pastoral Center 305 Seventh Ave N. St. Cloud, MN 56303.

Some meetings may take place in a parish or restaurant.

Event Dates:

Youth Day - Sunday, October 27, 2024

Middle School Lock-in - TBD (Looking at Saturday, January 25-26)

Castaway - March 28-30, 2025
