Open to First UU friends and members, intended as a multigenerational community building experience! 

We have reserved a block of sites in loop A and we will be asking those who are able to cover the expense of $72 for a lean to or $50 for a tent site for the weekend. We have funds to cover this cost for those who aren't able. Sharing sites is encouraged. Park rules limit the sites to 8 people and two vehicles, though extra parking is available. Use this map to choose your first and second choice sites. (Note that some are much closer to the bathroom than others!)

The youth group will stay together in a supervised group site on Saturday only, generally 10 am Sa-11am Su.

There is a limited amount of structure to the weekend. We gather for a group potluck on Friday evening,, we offer a group fire on both nights, usually with a singalong on Saturday. S'mores, both vegan and traditional. Many people climb the mountain on Saturday; there are usually multiple groups going up to suit different schedules. If it is warm enough we try to plan some group beach time. On Sunday morning we circle up for informal worship just before checkout time. Some common toys will be made available in the grassy area between the lean tos. All campers will get maps so that they can locate their fellow UUs and we encourage everyone to invite each other for games, hikes, pancakes, whatever part of camping you'd like to share!

If you're interested, sign up for a site right away, you can always cancel! If we fill up we will try to reserve more sites at the campground or find people who are willing to double up.
