USING MOBILE DEVICES TO SUPPORT COOPERATIVE LEARNING

Date and location: 27, 28 February and 01 March 2033 Porto, Portugal 🇵🇹

Workshop synopsis:
Cooperative Learning is a pedagogical model in which students work together in small groups (between 4 and 8 people) and help each other to solve problems. One of the most significant aspects of Cooperative Learning is the understanding by all group members that they can only achieve their own goals if the others achieve theirs, thus creating a ‘positive interdependence’. This three days workshop focuses on the premise that for many students learning in groups is not a natural process, and they need to learn how to cooperate by arguing constructively.
