Dear Sixth Grade families,

Each year, HMS sixth graders have the opportunity to enroll in a week-long outdoor educational experience at Wonder Valley, located at the River Way Ranch Camp in Sanger, CA (frontdesk@wondervalley.com or 559.787.2551) that cannot be replicated in the classroom setting. While at the camp, students will participate in a wide variety of educational activities designed to increase their awareness of the natural environment and ecology, as well as develop friendships and bonds among classmates. Some of the activities and classes planned for this year’s trip include rocketry, animal science, team building, and geology.

The trip is scheduled to depart from the school parking lot at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2019, and return to the school at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019. Our goal is to have 100% of students in grade six attend this valuable program. Your student will need to bring a snack for the 4 hour drive to Wonder Valley.

The fee to participate is $750.00 You may pay by credit card on the HMS Web Store on the HMS website https://goo.gl/UkL1Ve . Register for an account or log in and then when asked if you are a student click "yes", do not click "no". If you pay by check, make it payable to Huntington Middle School. In order to guarantee a spot on this trip for your child, registration must be completed and submitted with full payment by Friday, September 13th.
