2023 Rack Captain Application

The Uniform Crew is now seeking students to serve as Rack Captains!
Rack Captains are essential student leaders who assist the Uniform Crew to make sure each marcher is dressed correctly when in uniform and that uniforms are stored properly after every performance. Many Rack Captains also assist the U-Crew by helping with uniform fittings, teaching new marchers proper storage of uniform pieces, and many other tasks regarding marching band uniforms.

There are no "wrong" answers to the following questions, so please be honest. Not being available for everything will not eliminate you from eligibility or consideration. Please read "Rack Captain Requirements and Responsibilities" found at the end of this survey to make sure you are willing and able to fulfill the the duties of a Rack Captain in additions to your other band and school responsibilities before you submit your application. Applications are due by July 16, 2023 by midnight.

If we have more candidates than positions, would you be interested in:
1. Being a Uniform Buddy for an undecided marcher who needs extra assistance/instruction with his/her uniform?
2. Being a Floating Rack Captain? Instead of being assigned a regular rack you might:
a. fill in for a rack captain who is absent.
b. help a rack that needs extra assistance.
c. perform additional/different duties for the Uniform Crew.
d. take over if a rack captain cannot finish the season.

We depend on our Rack Captains as they are a VERY important part of our crew! We often have small snacks and treats to show our gratitude. We know how hard our Rack Captains work, and we truly appreciate their effort and dedication, especially since they are usually exhausted when their work for us begins.  What would be your 3 favorite treats if you were a Rack Captain?
