Dublin City Schools Public Participation Form
The Board of Education recognizes the value to school governance of public comment on educational issues and the importance of allowing members of the public to express themselves on school matters of community interest. In accordance with Board Policy 0169.1, the following rules apply:

1. Any Dublin City School District resident having a legitimate interest in the actions of the Board may participate during the designated public participation portion of a meeting.

2. Public participation is limited to action items on the agenda only.

3. Any person wishing to participate shall register at least twelve (12) hours in advance by giving notice of their name, address, and group affiliation, if and when appropriate, to the District Public Information Office by using this form (recommended), emailing info@dublinschools.net or calling (614) 764-5913.

3. Individuals may not register others to speak during public participation. No individual may cede their allotted speaking time to another individual.

4. Each statement made by a participant shall be limited to three (3) minutes duration, unless extended by the presiding officer.

5. No participant may speak more than once. All statements shall be presented from the lectern and directed to the presiding officer; no person may address or question Board members individually.
