March with us in this year's Mardi Gras Parade! There are only about 35 places in our float for Dayenu members, so register ASAP so you don't miss out!

Theme: "Jewish, Queer, and Fabulous"
The overall theme for Mardi Gras this year is "What Matters", so we are responding to it by showing what matters to the Jewish LGBTQIA+ community. The key message that we want to convey through our float is that it’s okay (or Fabulous!) to be Jewish and Queer. We have been marching in the Mardi Gras Parade since 2000, and this year will be the 20th Anniversary for Dayenu, so we want to continue this legacy.

In our float, we will have a huge Magen David on top of a flatbed truck, decorated with lights and posters. In the front of the truck will be a Menorah. You (float participants) will be marching behind the truck down oxford street.

Cost*:
General: $40 (includes FREE souvenir Dayenu T-shirt)
Groups/Concession: $30 (includes FREE souvenir Dayenu T-shirt)

Dress: We will provide t-shirts on the day. Wear pants/shorts/skirts/leggings that are a colour of the rainbow (pick any colour you want).

Routine: We plan to upload a video on YouTube showing the simple marching choreography for the float. You will get a chance to practice on the day.

Further details will be sent to participants closer to the date.
Generally, we need you from around 5pm on Saturday 29th February until around 10pm, when we finish marching the parade.

2. Deposit your fee directly to Dayenu's bank account. When making a payment please ensure your name is in the description field so we can match payments to the correct person.
