The Kentucky Academic Standards for Science: An Overview  
Includes:  Breaking Down a Science Standard and Gap Identification/Grade to Grade Coherence

Summary:  To have a coherent K-12 science program, teachers need to understand how core ideas, practices, and concepts progress through the grade bands.  In this session, teachers in PLCs work together to analyze the three dimensions of the performance expectations of the KAS for science.
