Please note that if you selected no to the previous question and you have been admitted to the Winter 2023 semester, the likelihood of you getting your study permit approved before the start date is very low as processing times are currently long and can take several months. If you have not applied for a study permit yet, you are highly encouraged to defer your start date to the following semester (Spring 2023) or to the Fall 2023 semester as Acadia is no longer offering online classes. To defer your start date, please email admis@acadiau.ca.

*Please note that the WIC will be offering a free airport pick-up service on Jan. 5th and 6th ONLY. There will be one pick-up time on Jan. 5th at 3.30pm and the other at 12.30am on Jan. 6th.
We will NOT be offering our airport pick-up service before or after Jan. 5th/6th. If you're arriving before or after these date, you will be responsible for your own transportation from the airport to Acadia University.*

Will you be living on- or off-campus?

Students who have selected off-campus (I don't have a place) or unsure are highly encouraged to live on-campus in residence. There is currently a housing crisis occurring across Canada and locating off-campus housing is quite challenging. Living in residence will allow you to get accustomed to university and Canadian life better as we have various supports available on-campus and in residence to assist you with your transition.
