T-TESS includes three components:
Goal-setting and professional development plan
The evaluation cycle (including: pre-conference, observation, post-conference)
Student growth measure

This is the beginning of the year GPSD refresher training for all teachers in BISD who have one or more students assigned for instructional purposes for the 2020-2021 school year. The materials have been quoted and adapted from the TEA Teacher Orientation training powerpoint and resources found at https://teachfortexas.org

The time commitment is expected to be approximately one half hour.

Once this module is completed, it is recommended that you complete the Strive Update for Teachers module that provides guidance for creating your GPSD in Eduphoria Strive.

The final step in the process is to meet with your appraiser to go over your GPSD draft and then submit for approval through Strive.
