We are looking forward to having our parents visit for the Parent Nights at ACP!  Make sure to save the dates on your calendar:

Nursery Half Day                       Monday, September 16th         7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Nursery All Day & Primary       Thursday, September 26th       7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The point of this evening is for you to better understand your child’s time at school.  To understand their daily routine we ask that Nursery parents enter through the front door and go to your child’s cubby area just as the children do. Primary parents should enter through the front gate and go around to the back entrance. We will have staff on hand to greet you and guide you. Find your child’s cubby and store your things.

We then ask that you move yourself through the school environment and respond to it as you will.  We have labeled the areas as much as possible to enable you to use materials on your own (since you can read).  The children are of course guided through by the teachers who pose many of the kinds of questions you see written.  Each year the materials and experiences we offer you and your children change based on the needs of the class.

We will be discussing the unique way we start our day and the benefits thereof, as well as how we move through transitions during the course of our day.  Wear casual clothes so you can participate as much or as little as you wish.  See you soon. If you cannot come, and that does happen, simply explain that to your child and don’t feel guilty!
