Due to the COVID-19 virus, we have to prepare for many different scenarios.  The possibilities being discussed in Van Buren County are:

1. In-person, face-to-face instruction with proper precautions and safety measures
2. Remote/distance learning using technology and other means
3. A combination of in-person, face-to-face instruction and remote/distance learning

Please keep in mind that when and how Bloomingdale Public Schools and other schools reopen will be dependent upon the guidance and mandates from the Center for Disease Control, our local health department, and the standing executive orders from the governor's office.

Assuming that schools are permitted to return to in-person face-to-face instruction in the fall with proper precautions and safety measures, it may be an impossible task for BPS to provide transportation to and from school for all students who normally ride a school bus because of limits that will be placed on the number of students who can ride a bus at one time.
