Imperial Public Library - Zip Book Request Form
What is Zip Books?
It is a patron-driven collection development program funded by a grant from the California State Library. If there’s a book you want that our library doesn’t have on its shelves, you may request the desired titles and, if they are fulfilled, receive them at your mailing address. You must return the books after 6 weeks from delivery. This year-round program currently runs from July 1st 2023 to June 30th 2024.

GUIDELINES:
1. You must have a library card with no outstanding fines
2. Only tangible books are allowed. No DVDs, audiobooks, textbooks, etc.
3. Up to 5 books per library card can be requested at a time
4. Individual book value may not exceed $50
5. Book must not already be part of our library catalog.

USING THIS FORM:
Step 1: Fill out the Zip Books Request Form below.
Step 2: Library staff will contact you to update you on your request's status.
Step 3: Enjoy your book(s) for up to six weeks from the delivery date. Return book(s) to the Imperial Public Library's book drop or front desk. The item(s) must be returned in order to request additional items.
