The WIE Mentorship Program (WMP) is designed to create a platform where Women in Exhibition use their expertise and experience to empower more female professionals in different stages of their careers.
WMP’s Mission is to create a community of resources, spanning several areas of business over a global network. By offering one-on-one career advice to support professional and personal growth, WIE believes unified camaraderie leads to success. By elevating women's confidence in their talents and decision-making, new doors of opportunities will open in cinema exhibition and beyond.
WIE Mentees will share their experiences and receive personal guidance from top-notch industry professionals over the course of one (1) year. Mentees will learn how to “lean in” and identify specific skill sets to increase their visibility in a competitive world. By accelerating their professional and personal pursuits, WMP aims to prepare Mentees for the the Big Picture conversations.
WIE Mentors will be selected from a pool of highly qualified professionals within our network, who have years of experience in exhibition, distribution, manufacturing and technologies. Respected for their accomplishments and continued leadership roles, Mentors will actively work together, to pay-it-forward and to stimulate collaboration and change in a rapidly evolving industry.
WMP will launch at CinemaCon 2022 (April 25-28, Las Vegas NV) with an opening event to include top-level professionals, motivational speakers (TBD) and members from WIE. The WMP will start with ten (10) selected Mentees and ten (10) Mentors. After completing their year in the program, Mentee's will receive a letter confirming their participation and acknowledging their commitment for prosperity.
WIE values the spirit of collaboration, inspiration and empowerment. By expanding the playing field to unlimited opportunities, the goal is to promote good leadership qualities in our Mentees to broaden their horizons as they navigate their careers.
