CO-CREATION WORKSHOPS
A Bolton Cultural Education Partnership enterprise supported by Bolton at Home and Bolton School.

WHERE & WHEN: Weekly Saturday session in our Crompton Place studio, 12 - 3 pm. Plus additional holiday projects and online masterclasses.

WHO & WHAT: We are looking for young people who are interested in actively shaping their local arts and culture scene. This project is focused on you: it aims to provide some inspirational experiences and skills, the opportunity to commission and co-create with creative professionals, develop creative activities that encourage other young people to share their ideas and aspirations, but mostly its aim is to listen to you and to provide a platform for what you wish to share, in the way you wish to share it.The collective commissions artists and co-designs community arts projects with them.

We are particularly committed to supporting the applications of individuals from backgrounds or social groups that are currently under-represented in the creative industries - including those of South Asian communities (particularly Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistani), African and Caribbean communities and from the Deaf/Disabled communities, as well as individuals from lower socio-economic backgrounds. We will support any access requirements you may have.

WHY DO IT?
To learn about creative careers, to develop skills as a creative producer, to grow your CV, to take part in inspiring activities and events, to meet like-minded people and develop your creative network, to introduce your voice and ideas to shape Bolton's 2030 Vision, to create work and share messages that are important to you - and perhaps most importantly, to have fun!
