Auto Repair Eligibility Screening 

Due to the holiday season, the screening process may be delayed. Status updates will be sent to your email within 14 business days of submitting your application. 

The Auto Repair Program is a partnership with the United Way of Greater Stark County and Stark County Job and Family Services to help local families get back on the road. 

This program provides financial assistance, up to $1,500, for costly vehicle repairs that many working families cannot otherwise afford. 

Eligibility guidelines:

  • 18 years old or older
  • Stark County (Ohio) resident
  • Have minor child in the home or minor child for whom you pay child support
  • Employed (4-6 weeks of paystubs) or participating in JFS OWF work activities
  • Income under 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
  • One vehicle (registered to applicant) per employed adult in household
