Our Work Preparation Programme is a two-week journey designed to help you build confidence, gain practical skills, and get job-ready. This programme is a pre-requisite for our six-week paid Internship Programme, providing a strong foundation for those looking to take the next step in their career.
The first week consists of a four-day intensive workshop, where you’ll develop key skills in communication, personal storytelling, goal setting, event planning, and business fundamentals. Each day includes a mix of interactive sessions, group activities, and practical learning. Workshops run from Tuesday, March 11 to Friday, March 14, with full-day sessions from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM (lunch provided) except for Thursday .
The second week is dedicated to mentorship and employment readiness. You’ll have access to CV writing support, job interview preparation, and one-on-one mentorship sessions to help you put your best foot forward in the workplace. These sessions run from March 17 to 21, with flexible drop-in times available.
This programme is free for participants aged 18+ in Hawke’s Bay, with only 20 spaces available. Participants must arrange their own transport.
