We are planning a very special experience for your “little cherub” this Christmas.

Each Saturday, we have songs and activities planned that provide an opportunity for your child to sing, listen to music, and reflect on the Christmas story.

The Cherub Choir will sing two songs during the Prelude at the 4:00 Parish Family Mass on Christmas Eve. After singing, they will return to their seats with you for the remainder of the Mass.


REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

The first week (December 7 10:00 am – 10:30 am (Ministry Center—Room 104)
........ We’ll get to know each other and learn that singing is fun! We will talk
about the Christmas story and who was there the night Jesus was born.
Please have your child bring his or her favorite stuffed animal or doll this day.

The second week (December 14 10:00 am – 10:30 am (Ministry Center—Room 104)
......... Will feature our “Road to Bethlehem”, where the children will experience
the trip made by Mary and Joseph.

The third week (December 21 10:00 am – 10:30 am (Ministry Center– Room 104)
......... Will center on “angel” activities.

The final practice on December 23 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm (Church)
......... Will be a run through in the church. This final rehearsal is important as it
will be the choir’s “preview” of singing in the sanctuary space. We’ll also go
over lots of important details at this rehearsal!
