Join us Friday, October 4 and Saturday October 5, as Robin Johnston, Biblical Counselor, shares on the following:

God has designed us to walk side by side as an interdependent body of weak people.  God grows and changes us through the help of others He is growing and changing—those who, like us, have been re-created in Christ and empowered by the Spirit.  That’s how life in the church works.  Leaning heavily on material from Ed Welch’s book, Side by Side, we will learn how to walk well together both when we are needy and when we are needed.  Some of the topics we will look at together are: asking for help, moving toward one another well, having thoughtful conversations, compassionate care for those who are troubled, understanding Satan’s devices that would divide us, and how to talk about sin.  

The event cost is $35 (cash or check) and includes snacks and lunch on Saturday.  
Friday, October 4, 7-9 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm)
Saturday, October 5, 9am-3pm (doors open at 8:30 am)


Robin and her husband, Eddie, have lived in DE and been a part of a local church in Newark for 32 years.  They raised their children here and are enjoying their six grandchildren who live within an hour of Newark.  Robin has worn many hats in her life, including teacher (public and homeschool), full-time mom, and now she works as a Biblical Counselor.  She graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in 2005 and loves helping people apply their faith and God’s Word to life’s problems.  Robin is excited to help women grow in relationships with one another and with God.
