Welcoming Community Dialogue Summit
Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) and Global Ubuntu are working together to support community dialogues on social issues and/or themes in communities throughout the state of Georgia. The purpose of the Dialogues, and the Summit by extension, is to pave the way toward an equitable and just society where all people - regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, class, ability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, educational status, gender, or religion - are treated with dignity and respect.
The Dialogues are poised to shift culture and attitudes so that everyone is able to regard others with empathy and compassion, people feel welcomed, and develop a sense of belonging. So come talk, listen, and learn with others who are actively involved in changing our world for the better through conversations and collaborative action!
Registration is required. Light refreshments and lunch will be served.
