Nominations for ESJ's Board of Directors
ESJ is accepting nominations for two Board Director positions. Self nominations are accepted.  Brief interviews will be conducted in the beginning of January. An election will be held in mid-January, 2022. Therefore, nominations should be submitted no later than December 27, 2021.


Board Directors play an important role in the governance of Educators for Social Justice. Board Directors are elected for a three year term. They are expected to be a member in good standing with ESJ. They will attend Board meetings and actively contribute to the governance of the organization,  participate in conference planning, promote the financial health and stability of the organization, serve as a Committee Chair, and be committed to social justice education. All candidates must be members in good standing with ESJ with a demonstrated commitment to social justice and education.
