Reflect & Revise Feedback: Broadband Action Plan & Digital Equity Plan

Thank you for your interest in the Maine Connectivity Authority (MCA)'s Broadband Action Plan (BAP)!

This 5-year statewide plan will establish Maine's broadband goals and priorities and has been developed in coordination with stakeholders around the state. The plan identifies priorities for investment in broadband and digital equity, and will serve as the state’s road map to bring the economic, health, educational, and social benefits of high-speed internet to all Mainers.

Following our extensive engagement period, MCA is taking the month of June to reflect on all that we have heard from individuals, communities and partners and revise the Broadband Action Plan as needed. We want to reiterate that this is a draft plan. Content may contain minor spelling or grammatical errors, and content may be updated beyond June 1. Once we have incorporated edits and feedback to this draft, the final plan will be submitted to the Federal Government by August 1.

Maine opted to combine our digital equity and infrastructure planning so that digital equity would be woven throughout the BAP, and also result in a standalone Digital Equity Plan for the first time. Please note that the BAP comprehensively includes aspects of the Digital Equity Plan, so you may choose to also provide feedback on the Digital Equity Plan though it is not required.

If you have feedback to provide on an area of the draft plans that does not have a section specified, please do so in the last "General Feedback" question of this form or by emailing bap@maineconnectivity.org. If you provide feedback via email, please indicate whether you are commenting on the BAP or Digital Equity Plan.

An email address is required because the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program requires that an MCA team member follow up with all who contribute comments. We will not store or otherwise use your email address or personal information.
