ClimBEco stands for Climate, Biodiversity and Ecosystem services in a changing world. It is a two-year graduate research school that promotes interdisciplinary research by supporting PhD students in networking and learning across disciplinary fields. Approximately 30 PhD students can be admitted to the graduate research school every year.

Our mission is to offer a structured, supportive platform for doctoral students dealing with issues related to biodiversity, ecosystem services and climate studies. Activities within ClimBEco provide interdisciplinary training and situate individual research projects within a broader societal context. Participating PhD students also gain improved communication skills, personal- and career development, and in-depth interdisciplinary understanding. All in a progressive spirit in a network of peers and mentors.
