Power of Produce for the 2025 Market Season
The goal of the Power of Produce (PoP Stars) program is to connect children to the local foods community and to increase their interest in consuming healthy fruits and vegetables.

Children, ages 4 through 15, receive tokens to spend on fresh, local produce at the farmers' market.

* Child recipient must be at the market to collect tokens. 

What can PoP Stars purchase with their tokens?
  • any fresh vegetable
  • any fresh fruit
  • culinary herbs
  • microgreens
  • mushrooms
  • plants that grow food (tomato plants, herb plants, edible flowers)
Power of Produce is available every Thursday beginning in June through the end August, while supplies last.*

Nothing set forth in this Program constitutes a guarantee by the Hancock County Farmers' Market, its representatives, its volunteers, associated organizations, partners, and/or stakeholders that at any time tokens will be available or have any particular value, useful life, or residual value.
