The Arizona Psychological Association (AzPA) awards early career psychologists scholarships to cover the cost of registration to its annual convention as part of the organization’s continuing efforts to support the personal and professional development of psychologists and to reward excellence in scholarship and dedication to the field of psychology. Awards are not guaranteed. Applications are evaluated and awarded based on AzPA membership and scholarship sponsor availability. We appreciate your interest in AzPA and look forward to seeing you at our 2023 convention!

Terms of the Award:

1. Applications are accepted only from early career psychologists that have made the transition from graduate study to professional life and have been in practice for 10 years or less.
2. Recipients must be members of AzPA.
3. Recipients of the scholarship must attend both days of the convention including the convention luncheon, the presentation of awards/reception and the sponsor photo.
4. The ECP Scholarship consists of payment of the member’s full registration fees for the 2023 AzPA convention. The scholarship covers the cost of all scheduled activities and convention luncheons.
5. AzPA scholarships are funded by community organizations and psychologists who want to provide educational opportunities for psychologists by donating funds to make convention attendance possible.

Application Deadline:

Applications must be received online no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2023. Scholarship recipients will be notified of their award by August 23, 2023.
