The deadline for all bids has been extended twice. First deadline was January 27, 2nd and final deadline is February 10 in order to insure a fair bidding process.
2/10/2023 (Note to vendors)
Today is the deadline to submit your bids for Category 1 Services for application 230005652. To ensure an open and fair bidding process, an addendum was posted twice to extend the due date.
If you have any questions or concerns, please submit them through the Vendor portal and I will answer them in the order in which they were received.
All bids will be evaluated using the bid evaluation matrix with the price of eligible services/equipment as the primary factor.
February 16, 2023 - Notified all vendors that we will have an answer on the winning bid(s) by February 24, 2023.
2/24/2023 - The final decision was made to go with two vendors Ellijay Telephone Company and Comcast Business to meet the Internet service needs for the Sequoyah Regional Library System for ERATE FY 2023.
I would like to thank everyone who participated in bidding on our Internet Service for ERATE FY 2023. It has been somewhat of a challenge trying to put together a configuration that is best for our library system. With that said, we will be using two ISP carriers to deliver bandwidth to each of our locations over the next 3 years.
Ellijay Telephone Company will provide dedicated circuits for Internet service to (3) locations. (Ball Ground, Gilmer, and Pickens).
Comcast will provide dedicated circuits for Internet service to (5) libraries. (RT Jones, Cherokee Law Library, Hickory Flat, Rose Creek, and Woodstock).
The decision was based on the Evaluation Criteria, shown on page 6 of the RFP (SRLSIARFP2023) FY2023 Internet Access - #230005652
