Nonprofit Marketing  Scorecard
The Nonprofit Marketing Scorecard is a tool to assess your organization's current marketing momentum and identify areas for improvement.  The tool provides a visual representation of your organization's marketing strength and provides a useful assessment for comparing marketing improvements when re-evaluated over time.   The Scorecard is divided into 8 sections and presented in the order that you should build your marketing strategy.  The more you improve the prior section the more you can improve subsequent sections.  For example you need a clear and compelling Unique Selling Proposition for each buyer persona before you can begin to create your brand positioning and and key messages.

Each item on the Scorecard can be rated based on a scale that identifies its clarity and effectiveness.  These rankings are subjective based on a review of each item.  To improve overall accuracy, it is best to have a number of individuals assess each item and provide their own Scorecard rating.  Have the Executive Director, Board Members, Marketing Staff and those close to your organization complete the score card.  Take an average of the values submitted.
