UMASS Jewish Learning Fellowships Spring 2023 Application
The Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) is an 8 week experiential, conversational seminar for students looking to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms.

We are proud to say that we make no claims about the “right” way to practice or not to practice Judaism. Our job is to help you explore the tradition in a safe space and find your own place, on your terms, in Judaism’s Great Conversation. Dinner is provided each week, and you will also earn a $300 stipend upon completion of the course. No previous Jewish learning experience necessary!

In Spring 2023, UMass Hillel will be offering two JLFs. One for the general student body and one for freshmen. Please mark below which you are interested in!

JLF for Freshmen will take place from 6:00-7:30 on Monday evenings at UMass Hillel on these dates: 2/27, 3/6, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/24, 5/1. If necessary due to weather cancellations: 5/8, 5/15.

JLF for Anyone will take place from 6:00-7:30 on Tuesday evenings at UMass Hillel on these dates: 2/21, 2/28, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9. If necessary due to weather cancellations: 5/16.
