District ESSER III Needs Assessment - Parent
The purpose and requirements of the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER III) Funds are to address elementary and secondary student learning loss resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds will target evidence-based practices for learning acceleration, summer enrichment, and afterschool programming.

Riviera ISD will receive ESSER III funding. As such, we are requesting your input into the district's plan for utilizing these funds. Please submit feedback regarding the District ESSER III Needs Assessment by completing the survey below.  Your participation is greatly appreciated.

Riviera ISD must create and submit a plan to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for using the ESSER III funds. TEA recommends districts use the ESSER funds for one-time or short-term expenses to address the identified student needs caused by the pandemic. The following questions will help Riviera ISD identify areas of need and strategically plan for effective and efficient use of the ESSER III funds.
