2024 Children's Tent Policy Form

Our weekly Children's Tent activities are educational, market-related, and just plain fun. They are the highlight of the morning for many families and for kids of all ages. We invite you to host a Saturday morning with activities and share information about your organization with the market community.

The Northeast Farmers Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, May 11th  – October 12th, 2024 from 9:00am-1:00pm in the parking lot of St. Boniface Church. 

GUIDELINES

  • The Northeast Farmers Market provides a 10’ x 10’ space, tent, tent weights, table and chairs for your scheduled Saturday. We will set this up for you by 8:00am.
  • Please arrive at 8:30 to begin your table and craft set-up.
  • The Market Manager will be on site to direct you to your booth. 
  • At your arrival, you may pull your vehicle into the parking lot to unload. After you unload, park on the surrounding Streets or Avenues. Please consider keeping 7th Avenue and University Avenue open for customers. 
  • In case of severe weather, the market will be cancelled. The Market Manager will notify you of a cancellation. 

Tent Policies:

  • You may sign people up for an email list as communication for fundraising. 
  • You may pass out information about your organization and about future events. 
  • You may give away items to promote your organization, ie., pencils, bags, etc. 
  • You may set up activities that are family friendly to engage customers. Please no giving away of candy, food or drink of any kind. 
  • No fundraising/solicitation of donations allowed on site.
  • No political parties or proselytizing.
  • Products asked to be sold at the market by the organization will be evaluated by the Market Board and Manager on a case-by-case basis.  

Promoting your Organization 

The Northeast Farmers Market puts out a weekly eNewsletter to over 2,200 people. A part of this eNewsletter is to introduce the weekly children’s activities to our readers. Included is your 50 words or less, social media channels, photo, and website along with your planned activity. We also post weekly Children’s Tent activities on our social media sites.
