What is it?
A six week workshop
Build soft and hard skills that are foundational for success in the job market - skills like written and oral expression; critical thinking; Google Drive Documents, Slides, file management; Zoom
The first 15 formerly incarcerated to join will receive a $100 stipend for participation
Tablets will be given to all participants who need one.
Talk about interesting and important philosophical topics like love, happiness, and justice.
Make new friends and meet interesting, smart people.

Who can join?
People who are formerly incarcerated or otherwise impacted by the prison system
Columbia University students
Other community members
When will it happen?
The discussions will begin on March 8 and meet once a week for about one hour, from 6pm to 7pm. Participants are invited to join on Mondays and/or Thursdays , whichever best fits their schedule.
