Financial Aid Night Registration - September 9, 2024

Our annual Financial Aid Night program takes place Monday, September 9, from 6:00 to about 7:30.  This program is for EHS seniors and parents but is open to younger students and their parents for those who want to get an idea of what is coming in grade twelve.

Details:
Part 1:  6:00 Financial Aid For Seniors And Parents
Part 2:  Immediately following part 1 (approximately 6:45), Creating Your FSA ID/Login
(needed to apply for financial aid)
We will meet either in the EHS auditorium or the EHS library

Part 1: Financial Aid For Seniors and Parents
Primarily for seniors and parents of seniors but open to all.  A financial aid expert will provide information about applying for financial aid for college.  A fair amount of time is spent explaining the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid – the form used to apply for financial aid that goes through both the state and federal governments).

Part 2: Creating Your FSA ID/Login
To file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) the student and one parent must each create an FSA ID which is simply your FAFSA login and is later used to electronically sign your FAFSA.  This is something you can do on your own; however, if you wish, stay for this session and our financial aid rep will walk you through the process.  To do this on your own, go to:
