Dear WC Petty Parents and Guardians,

The cold weather is upon us and the holiday season is fast approaching! As we all prepare for the holiday season, the staff at WC Petty has been busy planning a way to help families in our community enjoy their holidays. The Snow Buddies program will provide donated gifts to children in need in our school community.

If your child or a child you know would benefit from receiving a holiday gift, please complete the information below by Monday, November 2, 2020. Gift ideas and clothing sizes are appreciated. Please include the names and ages of siblings (under the age of 16) on the form, and we will do our best to purchase gifts for them too. Gifts will be ready to be picked up at WC Petty School by Monday, December 14.  Please note: Returning this form does not guarantee you will receive all the resources listed above.  It's our intention to assist as many families as possible.

If you are interested in donating gifts, please indicate below by Monday, November 9, 2020. Once we have received your submission, a letter will be sent home to you with the age and gender of a child, to assist you in purchasing an appropriate gift. The recommended amount of money to spend on the gifts is approximately $20. We would appreciate it if you would wrap the gift and return it to school with the information letter attached so we can deliver it to the right child. Wrapped gifts should be returned to school no later than Monday, December 7th. If you would prefer to donate money for a gift, we have great volunteers ready to do the shopping! Checks for gifts can be made out to WC Petty School. Please add to the memo that the check is for Snow Buddies. Please send checks back to the school to the attention of Ms. Buechner. Snow Buddies is a wonderful way to reach out and help those in need.
