Building a Business Model for the Social Entrepreneur
On Tuesday, May 21st from 8am - 2pm at Union Hall, we are hosting our high-imapct business modeling workshop titled “Building a Business Model for the Social Entrepreneur.”

Our senior curriculum consultant (and business model master!) Fred Hilkowitz will facilitate. The workshop will be centered on the Business Model Canvas -- Fred will lead activities and discussions about how this (super awesome) tool can be used to develop the different components of your business model and how they fit together. He will also share some strategies for customer development and market validation to prove your concept. Like the brand workshop, we will bring in our certified coaches from various business backgrounds to help you through the workshop and give you insights on maximizing the value of these tools for your company.

1. Social enterprises are defined as businesses that have as their primary purpose “creating social impact either through the people they employ or the services or products they sell.” This does not include corporate social responsibility strategies such as donating profits or buy one-give one strategies. Tax status is irrelevant for admittance into this workshop. Are you a social enterprise? *
