The Young Democrats of Arkansas composed of local county, college, and high school chapters from across the state. To become an official part of YDAR, the Young Democrats of America, and the Democratic Party of Arkansas, clubs must be granted a charter by YDAR's State Convention every April.

There are a few requirements chapters must meet to gain active charter in YDAR (Bylaws § 103). They must elect a President, Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer or Secretary and Treasurer in the month of March; they must hold at least four (4) regular business meetings between State Conventions; and they must maintain a current membership roster.

In accordance with YDAR Constitution § 205 and YDAR Bylaws § 105 and 202, this is the authorized chapter chartering application form. The chapter chartering deadline is 60 days after the State Convention, as approved by our YDAR Charters and Credentials Committee.
