Gender Cell, IIT Bombay is organizing an art competition. We invite students to submit art in the form of drawings, paintings, sketches or cartoons.

Details:
There are two competitions which are independent of each other in terms of participation, penalties, and judging. But with the same set of rules and the theme.
1.  Only dry medium allowed, which includes pencil, pen, colour pencil, charcoal, soft pastel, and oil pastel.
2.  Only wet mediums are allowed, which includes water colour, poster colour, oil paint, and acrylic paint. Pencil can be used for sketching.

Who can participate?
 All registered students of IIT Bombay.
Individual participation is must, no team formation allowed.
One person can contribute to only one entry in each category.

Theme:
Gender

Rules:
Dimensions: Only A3 and A4 size are allowed.
The drawing/painting must not represent any particular individual, organization, or brand name and must not overtly depict any religious theme.
All the materials have to be bought by the participants.
Digital art is NOT allowed.
Sticking, cutting, pasting of any sorts is not allowed.

Anything else that is not mentioned in the rules will come under the judges’ decision. In case of any discrepancies, the judges’ decision will be final and binding.

Date and time for submission: 3rd September between 4 PM to 6 PM.
Venue for Submission: Gender Cell Office, Third floor, Above the Academic Section, Main Building, IIT Bombay.

Prizes:
Prizes worth ₹ 12000 for the winners!
All participants will get a participation certificate.

Submissions:
Each participant should write his/her Name, roll number, academic year, department and the program they are enrolled in at the backside of their drawing sheet before submission.
Each participant must have his/her institute official valid ID Card with them at the time of submission; otherwise, they will not be allowed to participate.

All the paintings submitted for the competition shall belong to The Gender Cell, IIT Bombay.
