“Connect 2 Create” is going to be a youth exchange organized in Osterholz-
Scharmbeck in Germany which will include 42 young people.

-Short info about the exchange:
Young people are increasingly passive in this world full of social media and
virtual life. The smart phones and laptops have replaced the gardening tools
and tools box, the cooking is replaced by ordering online and the fast food
on each corner, the bicycles and rollers are replaced by public transport.
According to the World Health Organisation and their strategy for youth,
they recommend more active life for the youngsters with more physical
activities during the day. Very low percentage of youth are engaged in social
work and projects, where they learn the ability to be resourceful.

-Main objective of the project is:
Learning how to be handy and resourceful, while encouraging youth
activism in young people by doing community development projects.

-Participant profile:
Participants are youth between 18 and 30 years old coming from 7 different
countries: Spain, Estonia, Lithuania, Greece, Italy, Croatia and Germany.
Each partner should try to make the national group taking the gender
balance into consideration. It is very important that participants get
selected according to their interest for the topic of the exchange and
motivation for participation on the exchange.
Group leaders should be older than 18 years and it should be someone who
is active in sending organisation and/or who already have experience of
participating on Erasmus+ projects.
