If you have a website that is from, inspired by, or is a retrospective on the 90's internet, please submit it to The Old Net Web Ring!

In the same spirit as geekring.net I want to create a modern web ring. I want this web ring to focus on vintage/retro technology and software. It could be your old site from decades ago. It could be a new site that looks old. It could be a new site, that looks new, that talks about old things. Any site that's on point is welcome.

Upon approval I would ask that you include the Web Ring embed code on your website. All websites that are apart of the web ring need to participate in the web ring in order for it to work. That means putting the web ring banner on your site, so that your users may discover like-minded websites.

If you wish to include a banner it must be 468x60 pixels and 256 colors. It must be a gif or jpeg file. I don't remember why I picked that resolution. I believe it was referenced from a popular banner service.

Please upload the banner somewhere and include a link. A simple way to do with would be to upload it to google drive and share the link to that image.

If you do not wish to have a banner image you do not have to. But I highly encourage you to create a banner. You do not have to be an artist. Refer to my "Modem Depot" banner add on theoldnet.com. Sometimes the worst, the better.

Right now there is no edit capability. If you want to update your banner image or description you will have to manually request it over email. Once the web ring grows to a certain size I will add the ability to edit listings.
