We are doing a study on what people say in conversation when there is a disagreement between the speaker and hearer. Please read the scenarios which come next and decide what you would say if you are in such a situation and which factors will influence your decision. Besides, you are asked to indicate how strongly you agree or disagree that the factor would be important to you. You also find some open ended items where you could add other factors which are important to you. Comments could also be added in the spaces provided. Please imagine all the scenarios as if you are interacting with a native speaker of English. Only the items marked with red asterisk are mandatory. Completing this questionnaire takes 25-30 minutes.
