Nomination Categories

Each month will feature a different nomination category. Nominees who are not selected for the month they were nominated for will automatically be considered next time their category is selected.

Specials and CTE:
Licensed educators teaching courses in the fields of art and music, or those teaching in Career and Technical Education like business or engineering.

Core Subjects or Elementary Education:
Includes most licensed educators who are teaching core subjects at either the elementary or secondary level.

Non-Classroom Education:
Anyone who contributes to the education and growth of children is eligible for nomination in this category. Examples include; school nurse, janitor, or after school program employee. No teaching license required.
