Rebel Legion Event Request Logistics Form
Thank you for your request to the Rebel Legion for participation in your event! We are excited to post it for consideration by our Troopers right away! Before we can start recruiting troopers, we will need to get some additional information from you first so we can provide our members with as much detail as possible. Some of these questions may not apply, and some may be redundant, depending on the type of event you are hosting, so please answer them as appropriate :)

Firstly, two points of information for your consideration:

A: Under our operational guidelines, we appear at community and charity events for atmosphere and photo ops. We do not perform shows, skits or acts, though we LOVE to be involved in the event where appropriate!

B: Per Lucas Film rules, we are also not allowed to pose in pictures in a way that shows us endorsing for-profit products or labels.

Okay, on to the questions!

Please confirm the name of your event: *
Please confirm the date of your event *
Please input the FULL address of your venue (including any entry/parking instructions) *
Troopers have a two hour window where they can work with their costumes on (meaning we can volunteer for up to two hours for most events, unless we are able to set up shifts, depending on the type of event. This depends on you (the host) and the availability of whomever from the clubs steps up to lead volunteer recruitment as a "Point of Contact.").  Considering the above, what is the window that you would like us to appear? *
Costumers will need to access the venue one hour before the appearance time to suit up/use restrooms to get ready. Is this possible? If not, what is the earliest troopers can access the changing space? *
Costumers will often need to undress to then put their expensive costumes on. They will need also to store their belongings/bins in a secure area (like a changing room) while they participate in the event. Is this possible? If not, and we are expected to change at our cars in a public parking lot, please know that this will greatly limit what kinds of characters that will be able to appear.
What is your venue's policy on prop weapons (such as blasters and light-sabers). While these props are iconic to the characters, we absolutely understand if the venue is sensitive to a mistaken identity between a 'blaster' from a film and a real gun. We simply need to be able to alert our costumers what they should or should not bring. *Note: School venues are an automatic no blasters policy in most cases** *
Typically our volunteers engage in crowd interaction and photo-ops, but are happy to also be involved in the event in some manner where appropriate. Besides photo-ops, is there anything else you would like us to consider doing as well, at your event? (We just cannot support brands or take money or sell things) *
How many costumers would you like us to try to find?

Please know that if it is over a few we only have the "Good Guy" characters of Star Wars. If you would desire  "Bad Guy" Empire characters (Vader, stormtroopers) as well, our sister club, the 501st Legion can be requested at https://www.501st.com/request.php  and additionally, Mandalorians can be contacted here: https://mandalorianmercs.org/get-involved/request-an-invasion/     **IF you do contact these other clubs, please consider asking that ALL those costume clubs work together to recruit volunteers as one group. Otherwise, the 501st will automatically assume you want different "points of contact" to communicate with you from each club and usually this winds up with fewer participants and a bit of confusion.
*
Will you be able to provide us close parking? The transporting of our large armor bins over long distances can be very difficult for our costumers. *
Is our participation for this event to be located indoors or outdoors? *
Is your event a fundraiser? If so, for what organization? *
