Galileo Return to Learn Survey
Over the last several months, our team has been diligently working to prepare for VESD students to return to our campuses. Although we are unable to do so at this time, we need to hear from you so that we can finalize schedules, bus routes, staffing, classroom occupancy, and many other important issues surrounding our return to learn plan.

Before we can set a date to bring kids back to campus, two things need to happen. First, San Bernardino County needs to remain in Tier 2 on the Governor’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy List. At the time of this letter, we are in Tier 1.

Second, we need all VESD families to fill out the Fall Return to Learn preference form (one form for every VESD student). Families will have the option to choose a hybrid option that blends online and on-campus instruction, or you can choose to remain in distance learning. As always, independent study is an option as well.

Please note that this choice will determine your student’s enrollment status moving forward until we return to full-time, on-campus learning as state and local guidelines permit or unless we can accommodate a change to your enrollment status.

COVID prevention protocols will be in place when students return to campus including but not limited to frequent sanitation, daily health screenings, staff training, and strict adherence to all public guidelines from local, state, and federal health agencies.

Thank you all for your support and flexibility over the last several months.

As always, please don’t hesitate to call the district office or your school if you have any questions.
