This form aims to identify South Africans living overseas who would be interested in volunteering to monitor overseas voting for the Democratic Alliance Abroad at the various overseas voting stations.
This entails:
a. Contacting your nearest South African embassy/consulate for the DA Abroad (if it hasn't already been done);
b. Being one of the DA party agents to oversee voting on election day.
All missions listed below will open on 18 May from 7:00 to 19:00, except if indicated they open on 17 May or the exceptional case of London (which is 18th of May and 19th of May from 7:00 to 21:00) or Washington DC and New York (which is only the 18th May but exceptionally also closes at 21:00).
To volunteer, we need you to:
1) Fill out this current form. If you have any issues with the form, please send a message to contact@da-abroad.org. If you aren't already, sign-up at https://da-abroad.org/membership to be a DA member. We require this to ensure there is no conflict of interest when reporting on election activities to the party.
2) After this, an invitation to an online training session and later a schedule for each station will be shared with you so shifts can be arranged between you and other DA Abroad volunteers.
