This form will facilitate your making a tax-deductible donation to either
Houstonfest,
Sprachfest,
Winterfest, or the
Texas State German Contest, all of which are under the umbrella of Texas State German Contests, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. At the end of the form, you'll be directed to PayPal to make the donation. Within the PayPal system, you can use a credit card, a debit card, or a bank draft. PayPal is the only means we currently have to accept online donations. If you don't have a PayPal account and don't wish to set one up, you can contact one of the contest directors about sending a donation via check:

How will your donation be used? Ideally, the operating costs of our contests are covered by the registration fees paid by the participating schools. In some years, the regional contests may not take in enough registration fees to cover operating costs (trophies, medals, ribbons, breakfast for the judges, supplies, web hosting, etc.). In such cases, your donation will help with that. If the contest receiving your donation already has enough income to cover operating costs for that year, then your donation will be directed toward scholarships for individual students, transportation grants to help schools finance the cost of getting to contest, financial incentives to encourage more schools to participate, or long-term initiatives to improve the contest experience for everyone.
