Grace Church Children, Youth & Family Registration 2019-2020
The Sunday School schedule is slightly different this year! We've divided the program for children on Sunday mornings into two parts: Children's Chapel (during the services) and Sunday School (between the services). How does this work?

Whether you attend the 9am or 11am service, you start with your child in church in the pews (or they can acolyte!). Then, children ages 4-12 are encouraged to follow the cross to Children's Chapel in the chantry (the small chapel just off the church on the South side) during the sermon and prayers. We sing songs, learn how to say prayers together, and read the same lessons as the adults in our story bible, followed by a children's sermon. Children then join their parents for the rest of the service in the church.

From 10:15-10:45am, during The Sunday Forum for adults, children ages 4-12 are encouraged to attend Sunday School in the classrooms off Tuttle Hall (where Coffee Hour takes place). Lessons are thematic and explore our faith through storytelling, crafts, and activities. Children who attend either service are welcome to attend at this time.

This registration form is for all of our regular Children, Youth & Family programming throughout the year, so that we know how to find you in an emergency and any special instructions you may want to communicate regarding your child(ren). Please fill out this form here or a hard copy (available on the Children, Youth & Family bulletin board outside the church on the way to Tuttle Hall).

We also encourage all parents to contribute in some way (or many ways!) through donating snacks for the classrooms, helping wrangle during Children's Chapel, or volunteering to teach a lesson or lead an activity during Sunday School.

Finally, confirmation class begins in October for those in 7th grade and above. This year's program will meet monthly in the fall and weekly in the Spring until the Bishop's visit, and will culminate with a Civil Rights pilgrimage to Alabama June 11-15, 2020. Click through to the end of the form to indicate your interest in hearing more about this program.

Blessings for a new year of formation!
