MS in Speech-Language Pathology Healthcare Distance Cohort Supplemental Application

This supplemental application is for individuals interested in applying to the healthcare-focused cohort of the distance venue of TWU's SLP program that begins Summer 2022. Applications for the schools-focused distance venue, if authorized, will be accepted beginning August 15, 2022 with the program starting Summer 2023. Applicants must also apply to the program using CSDCAS and ApplyTexas.

Students in the distance healthcare cohort must be sponsored by a healthcare entity throughout the 27-month program as a condition of acceptance. If you do not already have a sponsoring entity, we will attempt to find a sponsor for you to interview with. However, there is no guarantee that we will be able to secure a sponsor for you. Students cannot enroll in the program without a sponsor.

Residency requirement: Students must attend classes on the Denton campus three days each summer semester. Dates for Summer 2022 are anticipated to be late July; exact dates will be provided upon acceptance.

NOTE: All required prerequisite coursework (science and statistics classes as well as SLP-related "leveling" or undergraduate courses) must be complete by May 2022. Students who do not have the ASHA-required 25 hours of university-directed observation will be able to earn those hours during the summer 2022 semester.
