Please include a list of the products you would like to sell.  

Include a brief description.  We use this information to determine if you qualify for our Market.   

You are NOT allowed to bring items not listed, as we may have placed you in direct line of competition with another vendor with similar Products Description products.  (for example, you cannot bring soap unless soap is listed so we do not have multiple soap sellers in one row.)

We do not approve vendors with product lines that were not hand made. 

Examples of restricted products we do NOT allow - Sublimation products, commercially made or purchased products with minor modifications, and imprinted products with only minor modifications.

Fees 

There is an Annual $25 Membership fee charged to each vendor (1) once per year upon acceptance of their application to our 2025 Cumberland Farmers Market season or at the time of acceptance to any of our Specialty Markets.

IF you are selected to join our Market based on this application - your Membership fee will be added to your invoice.

Vendor Rates

  FULL Season Vendor 15 - 18 weeks - $45 per week

 Choice Vendor 8 - 14 weeks - $50 per week 

 Occasional Vendor 3 - 7 weeks - $60 per week.
THIS APPLICATION IS FOR VENDORS APPLYING FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 WEEKS. 

*Single Week Applications will be available on May 1st, 2025.

 ALL SPECIALTY MARKETS ARE ADDITIONAL and do not count toward your #of weeks. WE OFFER SPACE TO OUR WEEKLY FARMERS MARKET VENDORS FIRST, and then open the available spaces to others. 

 The Cumberland Farmers Market does not give refunds due to cancellations, personal issue, conflicting event, weather, acts of God or any other unforeseeable issues. We do not issue refunds for vendors who have been removed from the market schedule for bringing restricted products, products that violate our regulations, or and unapproved/undocumented product.

OUTDOOR or INDOOR Spots

The Cumberland Farmers Market layout will have both Outdoor and Indoor spots for vendors in 2025.   

Outdoor: The majority of our market is set outdoors, creating a dynamic and inviting atmosphere where visitors can experience the lively energy of our vibrant community. Spot - 10x10 tent with your choice of display within that space.  

Indoor:  While the majority of our market thrives outdoors, we offer approximately 10-12 indoor vendor spots that rotate, providing a unique and cozy option for both vendors and shoppers. Spot - 6 1/2 foot front table provided in front of a wall - chairs provided.  Max 2 tables - no widening.

  Each vendor will maintain their assigned outdoor or indoor spot for their scheduled weeks, rain or shine. Please note, there will be no option to move indoors during weather events, ensuring a consistent and vibrant outdoor market experience.

Dates selected will be used to produce your invoice if accepted  - we can always ADD weeks throughout the season but only select dates on this application that you are willing to attend.

Mandate - Local Farmer/Artisan

The Cumberland Farmers Market in Cumberland, Ontario, has a mandate to support local farmers and small businesses that produce products locally and are handmade artisanal products.  

We try to make certain that products at our market are locally grown or locally/handmade.  And that these locally made products are being sold directly by the producers or by designated representatives who are familiar with the business operations and means of production.  NOT every single items at the market must be hand made, but the majority of any single vendors product line should reflect significant involvement in its production. 

We do not approve vendors with product lines that were not hand made.

Social Media and Promotions

We both take pictures at the event and gather promotional images to support our efforts to generate attendance. Please check to accept that photo's may be taken at the event and that there is no expectation of restriction on photography in a public forum like a Farmers Market.

APPLICATION ONLY

You understand this is an application and must be reviewed and is not automatic acceptance into the CFM or to the selected preferred dates.  That the committee and its members and staff reserve the right to refuse any application.  

Your Acceptance will be accompanied by an INVOICE which will reflect your approved registration selections plus your Membership fee. 

Any modifications to your registration after acceptance can be made through the market manager.  Date changes and adding or removing dates etc... will be at their discretion.   

Sharing of you space is between a maximum of 2 vendors. Full disclosure of all parties involved, and any FILL-IN VENDOR who you hope to fill in your spot while you are away must be PRE-APPROVED by our Market Manager.
