Colorado Wyoming AHEAD                                                                           Spring 2021 Virtual Conference Registration
The 2021 COWY AHEAD Spring Virtual Conference brings together disability service professionals from Colorado and Wyoming for professional development opportunities, including best practices from various institutions, workshops on a variety of topics from professionals and students, and plenary speakers.

Please submit one google form per attendee. If you prefer, you may submit one combined payment for all attendees for your institution. Payment information is at the end of this form. You may complete this form and then make payment later.

The Colorado Wyoming Association on Higher Education & Disability (COWY AHEAD); represents postsecondary institutions in Colorado and Wyoming.

Our goals and objectives are:

To sponsor and provide professional development/continuing education programs and training for members, agencies, and other new and practicing professionals in the field of postsecondary disability services.

To maintain a network to share information and strategies for effectively working with students with disabilities.

To collaborate with state and community-based agencies committed to equal access for post-secondary students with disabilities.

To explore emerging best practices for students with disabilities regarding equal access to higher education opportunities.

Conference Schedule:

Day One: Wednesday, April 21st

9:30 – 10:30 – Using Institutional Data to address Inclusion, Intersectionality and Equity in Access Services with Melissa Cermak and Jessica Austin, MSU Denver

10:45-11:30 – OCR – Year in Review

11:45 – 12:45 – Burnout/Compassion Fatigue Presentation with Jane Hahn, LCSW, owner of Grit Therapy
